Are there any ex-pat families living in these areas:

Springwood
Daisy Hill
Cornubia
Shailer Park?

We're just down the road in Ormeau, our daughter starts Chisholm college Yr 8 in January, just noticed one of your kids goes there from a search I did on the school, mind you it was from a much earlier post! Just wanted to say hello!!

Sorry to say we took our daughter out of there after she suffered bullying and the school wouldn't help! Besides, their OP schools were also bad. Plus one teacher didn't even know what Lent was all about (Catholic College!).
Please don't let that disuade you as all experiences are different Besides, your kid will be going in at a younger age and will probably fit in a lot easier.
My daughter now goes to Trinity College which ranked quite highly with the OPs and she is excelling there and not being held back like she was at Chisholm. Anyway, my daughter, just turned 16, is not into the mini-skirts, boyfriends and make-up etc. like the majority of kids here age at Chisholm plus she's not skinny so she didn't fit in with them.
My youngest two are at St Matthews (brilliant school) which is close and the feeder school for Chisholm but will not go there either but to Trinity.

Sorry for not being diplomatic but if you want to know more or a chat either with my wife or daughter it won't be a problem. Send PM for details.
