I caught two little ba****** breaking into the wife's MR2 the other night. Luckily, I scared them off before they did more than break the wing mirror. I ID'd one of em in a Police picture file...apparently he'd been ID'd by someone else for the same thing....
Oh well, I can't come back for the court case anyhow as I'll be in NZ. Little tosser cost me £30 but its not the end of the world I guess.
Sorry to hear about your car.........hope they catch the little ba******, but going on our force, you'd have more chance of DI Frost turning up and solving the crime.

Steve's van has been broken into twice now, outside our house and had his tools to the value of £1000's taken, the police didn't even bother coming out - we got a crime number both times. little b******s.

I have had a lot of bad luck in the past with cars being stollen from me. The first time I had my hubbys sports car stollen from me at college car park, got it back had it stollen again a couple years later used it in joy ride and was written of by insurance company. Then I had another car stollen about 1yr later whilst I was shopping in Asda's came out the full trolly to car gone. The car was later found total right off, I'd never seen anything like it, they had kicked ever panel smashed every window, and that was just the outside. I now have a nice little Toyota Yaris but its here with me in Switzerland hope no one whats to steel this one, think I would kill the b*****ds. Sorry about your bad luck I know just how you are feeling. Then so would those thieves if they had to work a hard honnest living to buy what they own.

Hi Ellen
Sorry to hear your news- fingers crossed it will be found in good nick. We had a bizarre incident recently in which are window was smashed, just for the fun of it- nothing nicked or anything. We still keep finding glass, despite it being hoovered out a few times now. Not very nice when you've got kids. Makes me wonder why someone would be such a sado - they didn't have anything to gain from what they did. Anyway, at least we know that cars don't get knicked in Aus (he he)

... if anyone wants to come and take my car they are quite welcome to it, just make sure you 'loose' it well enough so i can get the insurance!
Larissa, i had the front windscreen of my first car, a mark1 ford fiesta (no laughs), shot through (don't ask). 3 years laters, glass was still falling out from behind the dash!
cars, don't ya love em. If they're not breaking down they're been stolen or broken in to.

Really sorry to hear your news.
We need to introduce the meet the victim system over here, that might put them off a bit.
Hope it turns up somewhere unharmed. Mine got taken once and they just drove it until the petrol ran out. I got it back a week later.
