Re: murrumba downs, petrie?
There is a lot of building work going on in Murrumba Downs at present which is seeing the suburb extend it's barriers, it's a relatively newish suburb with mainly newer housing.
Has good proximity to Bruce Highway but does not have a train station and you would need to drive 10mins to either Bald Hills or Petrie station for a 30min train ride into the City. Expect to pay about $350k for a 3/4 detached bungalow (lowset). A drive into the city would take about 35mins off peak, never really done it or timed it during rush hours.
Murrumba Downs does not have a commercial centre just a row of shops with an IGA (think Spar shop), bottle shop, chip shop, video shop, hairdresser, estate agents and pub, that said it is only a few minutes to North Lakes shopping centre, and about the same to Kallangur although it is a bit bogany at Kallangur so I normally avoid it.
P.S.
originally from Scunthorpe, if you want any other info feel free to ask or pm me.
Cheers
