For anyone currently in Perth... What kind of reputation does Murdoch University have?

Well, I'm not in Perth, but I can tell you about Murdoch, as I studied there for a year in 2002. Reputation depends on what you are studying - it has very good reputation for its veterinary and teacher courses. I studied Information Systems, and in retrospect I wish I had studied at UWA instead, as the course seemed very lax...

My friend uses it for her horses treatment! The best vet hospital in Perth she says. Thats all I can tell you.

It's just near us, lovely campus, middle class student body from Australia and SE Asia. As noted, excellent vet programme. In the second tier of WA universities, after UWA, alongside Curtin. Not nearly as well known across Australia as UWA. If there's a choice, UWA, which is one of the big 8. Still, Murdoch's very nice.
