Wink Much work for Draughtsmen?

Hi this is my first post, great to read all the posts giving a balanced view of a life down under, i am looking at moving down under also, does anyone work in the draughting/design industry? I am a self employed Electrical draughtsman with over 15 years design experience in various industries. Prior to that i served my apprenticeship as an Electrician any tips or good agency web sites would be a help.

Sh*t load of work in Perth & Queensland, lots of rail work coming up in Sydney. I'm an electrical design engineer (also ex electrician then draughtsman) in the rail industry. Caddies are getting $50+/hr in Perth. I've been approached about a design engineers job (rail) in Sydney, which I'm going to take if the money is right. Try http://www.byron.com.au, PM me if you need any further info.
