hi guys can anyone give me any advice on bringing a pet dog to oz do they have rabies what are the legalitiies
So my advice would be, speak to your vet first of all. Then if the vet gives you the OK, you need to keep your dog up to date on all jabs and boosters until you go, there are some really good pet transfer companies in the UK/Oz and many of them have been referenced on here. We were going to use golden arrow, i think that's their name. Best of luck. |

Do remember that many more people with dogs move them as well that don't, as can be attested over the years on this forum. And those dogs settle very well indeed here. |

Not true at all. In the UK your dog will be given a lepto shot as part of jabs. This can cause the blood test and final permit to import to fail. It's vital that you speak to a vet and export company to start coordinating your dogs export as far ahead as you can.
