Hi
Can anyone reccomend schools, places to live in south perth?

You might want to include some more information and be a little more specific. Do you mean the Suburb of South Perth or the Southern suburbs of Perth for example?

Husbands office will be in burswood, so we need to live no more than 45mins from there, my boys are 10 and 13 so need 2 schools, state or private what do most people do?

45 minutes from Burswood is a huge area. Do you want river or hills or ocean or inland? City or country or suburbia or rural? Apartment or house? Townhouse? New house or older? Will he and you drive/own a car or rely on pubic transit? Do you want state schools or religious education? What price range are you looking for? Low income? $million + homes?

Without some details you're not going to get any worthwhile advice. You could also try the search function here. Look up to the top right hand corner of this page and you'll see the "search this forum" icon. Click on there and search "Perth Suburbs" and you'll come up with some of the most hotly contested threads ever written on this board.
