We moved to NZ in July 07 and have lived in Auckland and Wellington but its time to move to OZ and have chosen Brisbane.....

Reasons for going.....Wellington weather is just not good, more opportunities in OZ for us now and we feel our kids later but also finding the NZ lifestyle a bit, well behind the times....?

The attitudes to getting things done, not making decisions and many other things was fun but after a while gets on your nerves to. As a Brit/European you tend to be the one who gets stuff done at work while kiwis just do the minimums and its a wonder anyone gets anywhere here.....

Also had enough of the crap housing (for the weather) and the mobile scrap heap thats the NZ road network...

I love NZ in many ways but we feel the happy mid point between living in the UK and NZ may well be Australia and we'll soon find out.

Worries about going......well will we miss the NZ countryside/beaches etc?

Will the costs in OZ be prohibitive, people be ok etc etc....we'll soon see

I think NZ will be somewhere we look to maybe come back to for holidays and maybe retirement.....
