Working for QGC - welcome to the world of LNG. Fun & rostered, but don't p*ss it up against the wall and have nothing to show for it like lots of lads out here.

Some guys I know don't have an apartment, as it is cheaper to spend their rostered time off in Bali or Vietnam!

Yep - bloody hard slog doing 10hr days with no days off for sometimes 28 days and a few rostered days off at the end of it. Some go to Bali or Thailand to wind down and hook up with the local girls whilst others invest in Aussie property and go home to wind down.

I'm with you mate - make hay while the sun shines and use it wisely while you've got it rather than piss it up against the wind.

Are you currently employed by British Gas? QGC is a wholly owned subsidiary of BG. If you are, just be aware that what works in Britain is not necessarily applicable or required in Australia.
