Where are you stopping on the way, or are you going straight there? We are planning to go to Hong Kong but could change our minds. We need to be there by the 15th as that's when hubby starts job, should be there maybe a week before so will just pip you to the post.

Hi, ok so you're going to beat us!

We decided to go direct, and have the holiday when we get there.

Our dog will fly into Sydney, (vet willing) so we intend to spend a few weeks driving down the coast and back. Hopefully we'll find somewhere to live before we get the dog. I'm hoping to buy an old camper van for the trip, and to use for exploring and various trips.

I only wish we could skip all the unpleasant stuff between now and getting there. Q

we are leaving uk 24th september, arriving in brisbane 26th, we are staying in carina initially but are looking to buy in or around either bayside/capalaba area or albany creek in the north of brisbane.

Wow....lots of you are coming to the Bayside area. We arrived here in June (from Canada) and so far we love it. We're in Wellington Point right now but we're moving to Capalaba the first week of September.

Good luck on your trips. Hopefully you can make it to some of the meet ups.
