Moved to Melbourne - looking for friends!
Hey,
I'm 24 and have just moved to Melbourne from Sussex - I live in the Eastern suburbs and am looking for new friends to explore Melbourne with (or even to show me around!).
Anyone else in the same boat let me know
Thanks!
Sarah

Hey Sarah
There's going to be plenty of POM's out this Sunday morning for the England Vs USA World Cup Game, kicking off around 4ish. The main places i've heard so far are :-
The Crown Casino
The Charles Dickens Tavern
The Arcadia Hotel
I'll probably be going either the Charles Dickens or Arcadia Hotel.
This'll be a great chance to get out and meet your fellow POM's!
Cheers
Dave

Thanks for that
I'm out of town this weekend sadly but will definitely be up for watching the World Cup matches with everyone in the weeks after (especially if England make the final!!)
If you let me know the best place to watch them and where most people will be I'll come along for a few drinks.

We're planning the Turf Bar for this game, likely to try Arcadia or Sherlock Holmes for the second game

What's all that shutting the bar malarky at 3 and re-opening at 4.
Does that mean there turfing everyone out at 3 or they will be locking the doors at 3 and reopening them at 4, so the ones already there will be locked in?

Hey Sarah,
I'm in exactly the same boat! I'm 24 and have just moved here from the UK. How are you finding it? Have you spent much time in Australia before?

Hi Guys,
Me and Hubby just arrived on Monday, staying with the parents in Pakenham until we find jobs etc.
Is all a little daunting not knowing anyone! Stayed up last night to watch the footie, but guessing we are too far out to get to the pubs early hours to meet you all for the next game??
