Default Moved - irish couple getting very worried

we started our immigration process last feb 08.my husband is a bricklayer with 15 yrs exp.we were told where would be no problem finding a job in perth and asked when did we want to go.we wanted to be there before the really hot weather started as we have 3 small kids.its now nov were still in ireland and still no sign of a job offer,we keep being told to be patient but the patience is running out. work situation very bad here now and we are considering looking for our very large sum of money back.we fell for the hard sell at the start but got nothing in return very little communication with the agent at all and now it looking like our dream is not going to happen.were very disappointed. anyone with simular story or anyone with some words of wisdom if nothing else but to cheer us up a bit!

what sort of visa have you applied for? not up to speed with current skills list, but thought bricklayers were in demand? if still on the demand list it should be pretty straight forward getting your skilled visa`s!

If it were me and the agent were`nt doing their job fully, id get a refund and use another agent.

Good luck with it all,, by the way it took approx 2 yrs in all for us to get our visa`s
