Tough one this Terry,

Waiting for the Visa is a pain, no doubt about it. For most of us selling the house is only attempted when all other parts of the process are complete. I think it is the felling of impatience and anticipation that make this the worse of the two.

Just my opinion

Can we also have options of:

neither were stressful (unlikely)

both as stressful as each other (absolutely!)

sorry to complicate your lovely poll,

i would say waiting for the visa. You don't get to even think about selling any houses until that event. At least having the visa keeps you happy whilst u wait for the house - time will tell etc.

im scared though there may be a crash in london and will have to rent it out - thus being skint for aus for 10 yrs or whatever.

We have to sell the house first beofre we get the NZ job search visa. If we don't sell the house we can't afford to go...but what if we sell the house then don't get the visa! AGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Selling the car was more stressful than either of those.

Don't forget the hastle of all the silly jobs to make the house "more saleable" in the first place. Or is it just my being in the trade that has put off these jobs in the first place. Our place is like a busmans holiday at the moment!
