Hi we left UK on my oldest sons 17th birthday,youngest son was 14 1/2.

We had moved about a lot during them growing up,due to forces life,so they were used to adapting.
Eldest was hell on legs for first few months, even though he was told he didn't have to come,he could stay in UK if that was what he wanted to do.

Eldest has settled in now and starts UNI next month,youngest has been OK from the start so it can be done but be prepared for a rough period of time after you arrive.
