You do realise your son will be going back to primary school? Mine had already done a full year at high school and should have gone back for the last couple of terms in primary school, luckily for us as his birthday was in feb the high school decided they would take him early, he started yr 8 last September and then in Feb instead of going into yr 9 stayed in yr 8, so at least he is now in the right age class.

Jenny I think he's quite pleased in one way to be staying in Primary for another year, he wont be such the 'small fry' to start off with. How did your boy cope with starting High School in Perth?
