Got stuffed!! Well half stuffed, we exchanged contracts, so we are legally bound in now, which is the main thing but the lovely lolly won't be in the bank till Monday morning, good thing really as won't spend half of it this weekend on, so keeping it for Oz!!!

called phone banking. they couldnt help we hade to wait till the next morning and go to the branch and sort it. this mental case couldnt get it into her head that we would be on our way to oz as the bank was opening
we were lucky enuff to get it sorted by phone at london airport. 10 mins b4 boarding.
turns out they moved the cash 3 times:scared:

That's exactly what I'm doing now, waiting for Dawn then we are off to the Metro Centre!! Only prob is my cheque gaurantee card is only for £100, so lots of cheques to sign for tonight. Dawn just informed me a new cheque book arrived yesterday, oh dear, where there's a will there's a way.

we only brought one mobile with us and changed the sim card, as we seemed to have misplaced one at a drunken farewell bash!!!

Waiting to hear from agent regarding a timescale,but hopefully not to much longer
Spoke to a friend of ours,shes an estate agent,shes told us to hangfire till we hear something concrete about the visa.I just want the bloody "House for sale" sign to go up!!
Shes reasured us we will have no probs selling,but everything else that goes with it is out of our hands

Yes, butterflies and apprehension has hit home, we are living in a house that's not ours anymore, that's strange feeling, we've been here 18 years. Just want those visas now then we should be ok

Donna it only cost us $23 to change the sim card and i bought a new siemens for $100 with $30 free calls, it does me as i dont use it much, not enought friends yet!!!
and dont worry it wont be long until u r here with us all, the house will sell no probs. we will see u before chrimbo at the beach.

can i recommend isim as someone to go with prepay (pay as you go) sim. costs $1 with $20 included calls and is cheapest i could find (15c texts, 39c/min no flagfall). www.isim.com.au
