missing home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#16
When I lived in Australia for a year, I had waves of home sickness and it's not a nice feeling. But these feelings did come and go quickly (for me anyway), I just thought it would be perfect to go home for a couple of weeks, see everyone and come back to Oz again....
My family came out to visit when I was there, they stayed for a month, which was fantastic and we all had the best time ever! I don't want to worry you, but be prepared for when they leave...I cried on and off for about three days afterwards. I didn't know when I would see them next (We thought we were staying on a sponsorship scheme, which fell through).
I did end up coming home and eventually and applied for my PR visa. I did realise that everything was exactly the same when I got home, with both friends and family. Luckly, from the trip, my parents are retiring to Oz and brothers and my sister are hopefully coming out to live too. I'm sure my friends will visit too.
I'm sure the home sickness will ease, but it will come and go in waves, it's something I hope I will be a little bit more prepared for when I live out there.
Are you planning a trip back home? I was one thing that settled me when I did come home, realising that nothing much changes.
I feel for you, I do.
