Default Migration costs - do you pay agency and Australia to apply?

Hi

This might sound like a stupid question but do you pay the migration agency the fee plus the fee for your skills to TRa or whoever plus the application visa fees to the immigration department?

Sorry if this is a daft question but we are just trying to figure out realistic costs.

Thanks

Hi

Our fees to agent which include TRA assessment and visa application fee and agents fee works out at about £2600. Obviously we still have to pay for medicals. If you want anymore info, send me a PM and I will help you all I can.

There is no reason why you cannot pay TRA/DIMIA directly rather than via the migration agent (ie with a bank draft or credit card mandate made payable direct to them).

Many agents prefer to deal this way as means they can minimise the amount of client money they handle.

Yep, that's what we did. Paid the agent their fee, then paid the TRA and DIMIA their fees directly
