migration agencies
Hello again,
I know it so soon but i've got so many questions!!
I live in Berks and would appreciate anyone who has used an agency (and found them v. good) to let me know. We are going for our first interview on Wednesday and have been told that we will have to pay the first instalment then. We are going to use Concept Australia.
Cheers
Fiona

We used Concept, yes they are very good and very reasonable we paid in two installments. Application went through with no problems. We now have our visa's 13 months on.

Used Concept Australia, London branch. Have heard Manchester is better. We were always made to feel guilty if we phoned them, which we rarely did, got the impression once they'd had the dosh they didn't really want to know.
Saying that though, we got the visas.

Highly recommended.
Phone them up any time for reassurance no problem.

Have to agree with this.,.. I’ve said elsewhere, the response from them on the phone is very cold even though you have shelled out a lot of cash. Ask a question and you can be made feel like you are stupid for having asked. We also got our visas, but it was basically down to us doing all the chasing and leg work, left wondering exactly what we paid the fee for. The other thing I will add is that at the time we didn’t want to confront them about their attitude problem as we didn’t want to jeopardise our Visa applications in any way – once you get the visa, its easy just to say nothing.

Just said in the Perth/Melbourne post - we are using Concept in Manchester for 457ie visa - Doug has been exceptionally helpful.

He may be one of the cheapest, but his dithering and mis-information put us into the 20 month application nightmare, where I've since found out that if we'd not been so meticulous with unnecessary paperwork,we'd have been in Oz over a year ago.
His wife would sometimes answer the phone, and tell me not to worry about certain aspects of my Trades Recognition Application, then he'd see what I'd got together and say-"wrong-do it again" like some kind of school teacher.
I once told his wife that she'd given different information than Slimer, and he later rung me to say he'd withdraw his services if I didn't like his advice(no refund, mind)
People like this have got to learn that they can't toy with our lives like that,so once again, please use a more recommended agent who post on this site.Have you noticed that no body has a good word about him, just the Manchester dept.
I shall be writing to Mara when we finally get to Oz to officially complain, but in the meantime,my mission in life is to put as many people away from his 'service' as possible. His success rate that he shows you is from the applicants hard work not his.
E-mail or Pm if you want more info

Please, don't use Igglesden.I was up by his house yesterday,so thought I'd drop round and wind myself up-which I succeeded in doing. The guy lives in a huge house in the heart of expensive Bromley, and as others have said, really doesn't want to know once you've given yer cash. He's very charming up to then, but check out the handshake,it's the weediest, slimiest one i've ever met.
