It's a meet of Brits going to Oz, although if Ozzies want to come along I'm sure they would be welcome!!!
Will be good to meet you Steve - we live in Ruislip too.

Hello all you Middlesexians / Buckinghamshireians
Well I've been emailed by at least one party asking if we are still on and the answer is YES!
Can we have a rough roll call as I have to advise the hotel roughly how many are coming?
So far I have -
Buzzy (2 adults 2 babies)
Suzy (2 adults 2 children?)
AJ100
Kista
Steve-B
andicee (4 adults?)
If I've missed anyone please let me know!
I'll PM everyone to ask how many they are bringing.
All the best
Buzzy

The date suggested is Sunday 5th February.
The currently suggested venue is the Barn Hotel in Ruislip (www.thebarnhotel.co.uk) where they do a very nice afternoon tea (how very British!) for about £11, or you can get a pint or whatever.
Mrs Buzzy tells me the afternoon tea means you won't have to eat dinner!!!
There's plenty of car parking and it's on the tube (Ruislip station)
So could I suggest we meet there at 2.30pm? I'll organise a "British Expats Meet" sign or something.
Can anyone interested stick their hand up - the hotel will need to know rough numbers a few days before.
Also if anyone has any other ideas for a venue, happy to consider them.
Cheers, and look forward to meeting you all!!

Hello all you Middlesexeys and Buckinghameys
OK, as there is a wedding on at the same time at the venue, we have been allocated the Oak Room at the Barn.
I have asked the Hotel to put up a "British Expats" sign.
This is actually better as it means we have our own private area.
At the moment I have 15 attendees, if anyone wants to come who hasn't let me know, please PM me or bump the post and I'll add them.
See you on Sunday!

Look forward to seeing you all at The Barn on Sunday.
