Metrication!
Did you all realise you now have to become fully metricated!!!???
No more gallons - just litres
No more miles - just kms.
No more pounds or ounces - just kilos and grams.
I used to be 6'2" but now I'm 1.88. Comes easy when you have to buy clothes for the kids.
It's hot today - 32 degrees C. Can't even remember what that is in F.
(6 years in continental Europe - will be the same as your first few years in Aus/ NZ!)

There are a couple of hints.
Remember: 'a litre of water's a pint and three quarters' - which covers volume.
A kilo bag of sugar is 2.2 pounds which covers weight.
Distance: to find kms from miles, divide by 5 and multiply by 8, ie 1 km = 5/8 mile (I think!).
Temperature? Who knows, you soon get used to C.
