just watched an 80's music prog on sky and they said they were still cool down under!!??
any other uk one hit wonders out there?
and how expensive are cds in oz? is the music scene really a couple of years behind the uk and us?

We have Slim Dusty, John Farnham, The Seekers, Olivia Newton John. Still selling out concerts are Gerry & his Pacemakers who do a regular tour.
CD's are cheap. The music scene rocks.

Was here 3 years ago and Culture Club were here with support act Village People. It was bad, really bad.
Boy George described Perth as conservative with a capital C he was not much impressed with the place, although I am sure the feelings were mutual.

Isn't Shaun Ryder running around Perth? He is probably distorting the drug statistics.
With the internet there is no need to worry about being behind on the music.
Music here is definatley more "Rock" orientated.
Rock is the new dance now so you could say Australia is ahead of the UK.
