melbourne Women

Im I one of the few who finds Melbourne Australian women to be way too aggressive and sarcastic. I work with plenty of women, although I dont have any problems with them I find them too aggressive and unpleasantly sarcastic. The guys seem laid back and easy going. Im a gay bloke btw, and I really pity straight guys here. They seem to have it so tough.
I know im generalizing a bit, but so many women here are grumpy as hell.
Anyone else notice how unnecesarily unpleasant some women are here?
Oh and I dont hate women, Im a nurse and have spent all of my working life with them and some of my best friends have been female.

I think there's a lot of aggression in a lot of Australian people full stop.

I can only think of one with 5 letters, 'bloody', is that it? I don't consider that one to be a sweary asterix-worthy word, do you mean another word? Just curious

I have always found British people far more sarcastic than Australian people. Infact it's a common complaint that Australians aren't sarcastic enough. Australians are too dry to be sarcastic they are very dead-pan.
I have this notion that people who tend to notice traits in the other sex are either on the edges looking in, or single and therefore very critical. All the blokes I know who are single have observations like this.
Curiously I don't think Australians swear more than British people - if anything it is the other way around! Again there have been observations about this too..!

As for being one of the girls, yeah theyre bitchy, but as bitchy as they are in the UK. Im talking about how blunt and aggressive they can be. Like when I over hear them at work, chewing up a doctor on the phone 'cos hes too busy to come down and chart something. Sometimes at work its like they are still 15yrs old and theyre in the play ground. have noticed this behaviour in shops too, also some male friends wives are a complete nightmare. They would make me gay (or chew my arm off) if I had to wake up with them.
English women and Kiwi women seem to have more class, humour and humanity.

At work being a b.... is sometimes the only way to get people to move off their a..... and get things done
I can relate to that. The nasty one gets top of the heap the nice one, is oh she is a dear she will wait. Gets a bit tiresome.

Totally agree that many feel getting to the top means you have to be a bitch, while nice peeps are being left under the heap of excrement created from the alpha bitch.
