Melbourne VS Adelaide
Hello people!
I am new to this forum, and yes, I am not technically British, but my British friends have told me you are a good forum for me!
I have been living in London for the past 7 years and have had both my sister and brother marry some lovely Australians while living here! Lucky people! I am now looking to go for visiting and I wonder which city I will like better. Also, as a qualified dental hygienist with 4 years experience, I wonder if I could work in either city.
I am a very big rock and metal music fan and I love the outdoors. I was a big lover of sailing and surfing back in Spain and would love to see what Oz has to offer! I know I'll love beach life and as I know, you brit s are a friendly people so I'll hope you help me out in my decision!
Much love, Laura x

Re: Melbourne VS Adelaide
Melbourne definitely has a large Spanish population and a dedicated Spanish quarter around Johnstone and Nicholson st in Collingwood, if thats any help.
Plenty of Spanish food available in Melbourne as well.

A visit to see my family. A few months. I'm not 100% sure how long for, it seems I have to decide with authority first where I go. Thanks for replying!

Thank you very much ozzieagale! That's very helpful! I love how Ccomodating the Aussies are! I hope to see a lot of Australian life too. I hope Melbourne has a lot of this too! I am excited to see! I am very much swaying with the great ocean road, too, is it worth seeing?

You won't be able to work on a tourist visa. Why not go to both cities, and perhaps a few more too, if you are here on a holiday?

Not much surfing in either city: nearest surfing beach to Adelaide is about an hour's drive south.
