It depends what you are looking for.

If the answers is lovely weather, great beaches and total remoteness the Perth

If you are looking for cooler weather, great culture and easy access to everything, then Melbourne.

What about Perth's lovely clean white sandy beaches, clear blue sea and all round warm weather ?

Perth sounds lovely, but it is too remote for me.

I prefer the sound of Adelaide, to be honest.

Still, I will have plenty of time to make my mind up when (if) we get there.

Isn't remoteness all a bit relative when you compare it to the UK ? Adelaide is still a couple of days drive to Melbourne another couple to Sydney and quite a few to Perth.
Will you still not feel remote there or anywhere in fact ? So does being remote in Perth really matter ??
