Melbourne Meet Up
Just wanted to say thanks to Jaykay for organising todays picnic.
Even though the weather was a bit brisk, we had a good time, and it was nice to have a chat to a few like-minded souls.
Hopefully the next one will be warmer.
Thanks again, Jaykay.

Brisk...Brisk???? It was bloody freezing!!!!
Thanks to everyone who turned up. It was great to chat with you all and meet some of the people who post regularly on the forum.
Yes I'm looking to do another one in a month or so as I know there are more people arriving in November and hopefully the weather will be better. At least it didn't rain heavily and as I was leaving the sun did come out for more than 5 minutes!!
I've got photos and will download shortly and add to this thread.
Regards

I think I missed meeting you JayKay as we didn't manage to get there until 2.30pm!
But it was lovely to put some faces to names.
Even tho I missed most of it, just want to say it was really nice to have the opportunity to meet other poms. Thanks for making it all happen.

Thanks Jaykay. It was fun to meet everyone. I wonder if the other locals guessed we were a British expat group? BBQ-ing wearing overcoats might have been a clue...
Looking forward to the next one,
Mike, Jo and Alec
