Melbourne or Gold Coast

I notice that some manufacturers are removing the 4WD box from their entry-level 4WDs for such usage which is a good idea - loads of families need the space but not the off-road capability.

I think you'll find that a lot of these large cars are certainly used to their full capacity - we certainly use our Pathfinder for transporting loads of kids round, taking all our gear camping and towing the boat - hard to do all these activities with a Hyundai Getz!

At our school most people use a mid-size Suv.
Only my wife drives a Ford Falcon lol.
V8s are non existent, big 4x4s in serious decline...often a work or older 2nd vehicle.

We are currently living in Kajang in Malaysia and there is a drought here at the moment, its hitting 38C daily and 28C in the evening, the humidity levels are 97%, forest fires caused from the heat is causing dangerous levels of air pollution!

This area is a fantastic area to live in for families though, we've lived here 7 years.

Well I live right on the border of Mordialloc and Parkdale, and the primary school at Mordialloc is actually considered to be not very good when compared to Parkdale and Parktone schools (both in Parkdale).
