Melbourne friends/meet up
Hi everyone
Just wondered when (or if) there is a meet up happening soon in Melbourne?
My fiance and I have been in Melbourne for about 2 and a half months now. After finally finding somewhere to live and job and settling in, we're now looking to meet some new people! I'm 26 and he is 30 and we live north west of the city.
I don’t know if anyone else feels the same, but its kind of hard finding friends at my age! Its not like you can go up to anyone and say "do you want to play with my barbie dolls" anymore!! lol
So if anyone fancies meeting up as a group, couple, girlys then let me know.
Emma

Hi Emma,
I know the feeling! I'm living in Ballarat which is about 1h 15 mins on the train from Melbourne. Been here 2 months and getting to know people here is tough cos I'm not working yet and living with my boyfriends mum...
let me know what's happening, i'd be up for coming down to melbourne if that is what it takes to hang out with people my own age!!
not a pommie tho (i'm swedish) but i lived in brighton, uk, for nearly 2 years before coming over here.
