I think I'll just stick to the office sweeps, more chance of winning something that way, although as luck would have it, I have drawn the same horse in both sweeps, Master O'Reilly. Didn't he win the Caulfield!!

Profound Beauty, C'est La Guerre & Septimus ... though was on the news earlier that the owner of Septimus is not happy with the course and may be scratching, reckon thats a ruse myself.

What a race - I feel so sorry for the second place getter!!
I actually had more of a shock earlier in the day to discover a family friend has their own race at Flemington (the Schiavello Stakes). I knew they were ridiculously rich, but....bloody hell that's crazy!!

I won $5 at the office for coming in last place (we didn't count the DNF) and $21 from the TAB. Better than a kick in the teeth I say.
