We nearly moved there from Sydney 8 years ago but ended up in Brisbane. For me it was simply the weather. I love Melbourne, I think it's the best city in Oz and we visit quite often, but I wouldn't live there as I enjoy the warmer climate and beach lifestyle and at the end of the day, we don't tend to do much city stuff in our day to day lives. You really need to look at what you want to achieve from your move. Maybe you just didn't see enough or maybe it just isn't the right place for you? Gill |
