Default Meet and greet - Sunshine Coast?

Hi
Anyone know if there is anyone doing meet and greet for the sunshine coast?

It would be really nice for someone to meet us at the airport and take us to a pre-rented house with some pre-stocked food etc

For Gold Coast Jonahs Mummy,

For Sunshine Coast Mrs Dagboy,
Both of which offer relocation packages in the respective areas
Good luck

Just checked Mrs Dagboys website and they seem to be in Brisbane Bayside rather than Sunshine Coast

Maybe this will be a business idea for us when we get over :-))

Kevin which area are you going to, cause the sunshine coast has thousands of visitors arrive every day, so the services, buses and the like from airports both brisbane and maroochydore are very good. Most holiday apartments are in the central region of mooloolaba, alex, caloundra, and maroochydore all have 24/7 hour convenience stores usually you can walk to. Ninderry however is a very rural area a good 20 mins drive from most things.

We want to settle in Mountain Creek or Buderim.

Ideally we would like to be picked up at the airport and taken to a prearranged short term rental until we find something longer term.

We will probably end up just hiring a car and staying in a caravan park in Maroochydre (where we stayed in November when we were over)

If there is no one else offering this service (apart from the afore mentioned) then we will offer it when we settle in. There seems to be loads of people heading for this area so it might be quite popular.

Might work well with the coffee shop we plan to buy, could be like a meeting place for new arrivals with info, notice board etc.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Maroochy palms, it is a great place right next to the Maroochy River. 5 minutes to Sunshine Plaza and a few more minutes to the beach.
Have a look on www.big4.com.au

There's every chance, given enough notice, that Gill and I could help out. Our web site is www.koalakonnection.com.au and we live on the Sunshine Coast. We're not geared up for this sort of thing, yet, as we're currently finishing the build on our house and have other jobs, but we were planning a meet and greet service for 2007. Why not let us know what time you're planning to come over, how large the party is, what you'd like us to provide (house, apartment, caravan, car, etc.) and we'll see if we can help.

Anyone coming over this way simply drop us a line and we'll see what we can do. [email protected] is the address.

Paul and Gill

always willing to help
