Default Meds in Manchester - How long a wait ?

We are going to frontload our meds and police checks.

Anyone got an idea how long we'd have to wait to have meds done in Manchester, and has anyone got details of a recommended approved doctor please ?

Thanks.

Hi
We saw Dr Million, based on St John's Street, off Deansgate. Lovely guy, made you feel really relaxed and was great with the little one too.

What do you mean, how long do you have to wait, apologies if Im having a blonde moment

Hi, we booked ours last week to be done at 8.30 am tomorrow morning, we could have done them the day after if we had the info from our doctors.
we're using Dr Brendan Smith at 11 St John St Mcr, off Deansgate, you can park outside if room.
They do xray's on site as well.
Good luck Sim.

We saw Dr Smith when we had our meds done. What a nice bloke. He was great with our two young girls too. It's good that you can get the Xrays done at the same place, saves a lot of messing about.
Everything went really well, we were all done within an hour and a half.

Good luck, Loz

Be warned though - Dr Million doesnt do the cough and drop, but Dr Smith does.

It didnt cost us anything for the info from our GP, they just printed it off for us for free. But as for the hospital reports - we are having to get them now to send off the dr.smith.

Manchester meds only get sent off on a Friday, the next big send off is the 12th Jan, although Debbie said she may do one on the 5th.

It takes time for the bloods to come back thats why its the 12th she said.

Hi Our friends went to Dr Million too, they got in within the week. They said he was really good with the kids. Our local health centre says theres a 6 week wait so I think we will drive up to Manchester too.

We asked when we booked the appointment and they told us they dont do it at that practice - when we went on Monday, dr smith says 'he does'. Reception are now aware for telling others who ring in and ask the question. We also asked for the first available doctor too.

By the way - we only went this monday.
