where about are you?

we paid about £165 per person x 2 adults
£50 for child as he was too young for xray
£40 for courier fees (strange that we were made to pay 3 lots of courier charges when they were all going in the same envelope) ..still.
£420 in all - Handsworth Wood medical centre, Birmingham

For most visas, you will need a medical (if not all). Wendy who posts on here is quite knowledgable on the old medical side...why not send her a PM.

I paid £40 for a chest X-Ray and my wife needed a medical with no X-Ray as she is pregnant and paid £125 for that, plus approx £50 using DHL who gurantee a 3 day delivery time to Sydney from the UK.

Hi we have been told it will be difficult to find a Doctor who will do the medical on our baby, as they dont have insurance for under 3s. How old is your youngest?

Regards

We were charged:
£110 per adult
£80 per child
£30 for bloods on adults only as kids are only 3 & 4
X-rays were £58 each again adults only
Hope this helps

Thats strange...

We did Our medicals a few weeks ago and all the family were done.
Our 1 year old 3 year old and 8 year old.

There we no problems whatsoever regarding the 1 year old and no mention of insurance issues....

Ours cost all in all in the region of 600 and we had Ours done in London. That was for 2 adults and 3 children

It does pay to shop around and if you can get a good looking doc in the price even better.
