Default Medical requested after 1 mth 6 days

Got a HUGE shock yesterday when my boyfriend received an email saying that the medical request letter was on its way and to warn us in advance that as our UK police clearance (we front-loaded with both police clearances) runs out on 30/8/03 we will need to enter Australia before that date if our medicals are passed and we are granted visas. We sent our application off on 2/4/03 and it was lodged (Skilled - Independent - 2231-17) on 15/4/03.

We had just relaxed after the huge task of putting together the application and expected to hear nothing until the autumn.

Needless to say we are very excited! I certainly have the jitters!

P.S Has anyone who is planning to move to Perth (as we are) seen this website:

http://www2.reiwa.com/content-home.cfm

I often have a browse (and a dream) looking at houses!

Regards

Pookin

Congratualtions, you must be thrilled, albeit a bit scared.

Hi there,

We just used the Royal Mail, about 12 quid each time, used them for skill's assessment and main application also meds ect ...

You can insure, we did for the meds (300) £, job done,

Good Luck,
