medical probs.
hi new to this forum but have been reading it for months.
visa application akn. July 05 and having nightmare since.
to cut a very long story short, hubbie has to have add. med investigations and just found out only 40% of total kidneys working - he's 37 and basically fine. it is only by going through this migration that we have found this out. he goes back in 2 wks 2 see consultant and an ultrasound. my question has anyone else heard if this sounds like the end of the road 4 our plans- please give us hope! he's got very high blood pressure which will need to be controlled.

however if it's short term with good long term prospects then you should be fine, but until you know whats wrong and the treatment required then your left in limbo land for the time being.
hope everything turns out good for you, all the best for you and your husband

Re: medical probs.
thanks for info.
Bezza hope u got pm back- as u can tell I'm new to this.
will keep u posted in the next couple of weeks- we've been advised to buy a blood pressure monitor and do 4 or 5 times a day! he gets anxious in doctors so hopefully at home the readings may not be as high as in their presence.

Been at this stage before - passed medical last time no problems - didn't even know about the kidney but clearly readings might have been different.
Will be interested to know your outcome - it might not be what I would want to hear but knowing now rather than at the end of the application process is the worst outcome in many ways.
