Hi All, I moved here in August and live with my Aussie husband in Adelaide, wondered if anyone on here moved over on there own?

Have great family (in-law) here but desperately miss my friends and fam back home, haven't quite found any true friends here (apart from hubbys) and i guess was looking if anyone was in the same boat?

I am moving to Adelaide, (well with Hubby and daughter) will not know a sole, so would really welcome meeting up as going to miss my girle mates.

We arrive on 19th June, which part of Adelaide are you?

Hello to all of you, I arrange coffee meets, family meets and any other kind of meet I can think of as often as I can - look out for them you'll all be more than welcome to come along and you never know you might just meet your next best buddy there :)

Hey Lynz

The 6th June will involve beer and is south of the city. Just been waiting to hear back from Adelaide Dave who has gone quiet on us again. I reckon we just choose a venue - someone said the Belair is expensive but the RSL is cheap. The Belair is maybe more central though. We can walk to the Duck so that's great for us :D

Linloo - what do you reckon? You're our expert drinker :D

There's another meet planned for the 21st June too, a more general one which I'm looking for a venue for. Managed to get myself a job finally so busy during the week but hope to post that at the weekend. That will be south of the city too, thinking of Brighton way?
