Macquarie Uni, Sydney, has a very good rep. for these kind of masters.

I would say none would particularly enhance your ACCA. I have never come across anyone with both accountancy qualification and a masters in accounting, there is just no need. I would be put off in fact, think they are wasting their time farting about at college with no inclination to actually get into the workforce.

I am not sure if you mean you have finished your ACCA, in which case I would say your time would be better spent doing that, a half done accountancy qualification impresses nobody.

Sorry but you should improve your written English, it's definitely not at masters level and would hold you back.

OzTennis, i mean, i want to 'do' Masters.asher would you plz tell me why my English is not at masters level? (except the typing error of 'do')

Bermudashorts, i attempted my final paper and waiting for result. But by doing masters i can get student visa easily, also i can get 2 year work permit after masters.i can also enjoy the pay scale of masters in australia and local masters would be more helpful in getting immigration of australia.

Thanx for replies...

Just pointing out that "Masters" has no weighting on pay rates in Australia. In reality a Masters would be considered a disadvantage.

If you were following a academic path fine that makes senses but in commerce or practise questions would be asked why you did not focus on more valuable experience.

I have had masters working for me who I have had to pay less than experienced staff purely on what they offer me as a commercial resource.

My advice additionally would be to think about the experience of what you have contributed to a business rather than time served.

I was just answering your question:

"in which course i do masters which enhances my worth along with ACCA?"

You didn't say anything about wanting to get a student visa easily, I am sure a masters course is great for that, but it won't help your career prospects in accountancy.

I have completed 13 papers of the ACCA qualification, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting. I now want to study for a Masters in Australia, but I am confused.

1)in which course i do masters which enhances my worth along with ACCA?
Which Masters course would be the 'best fit' with my completed ACCA studies, in terms of enhancing my future work prospects in Australia?

2)in which best appropriate university i need to take admission, which is best in accounting and finance courses?
Which Australian university is the best for Masters courses in Accounting and Finance?

Any replies will be very helpful. Thank you in advance for any correspondence

No need to thank people twice

Hi nonauto, you asked asher about your written English skills. As I've spent a fair amount of time working with people from non-English speaking backgrounds, I thought I'd rewrite your post to show you where you might improve. Please see above comments in italics, I hope this helps

Plz and thankz are spelled please and thank you, sentences never start with but and I should always be capitalised ect ect.. This is basic English writing skills that is expected in young children, I imagine this is why you've been told your written English is not at masters level.

In Australia Bachelor and Master enjoy same pay rates? and why masters would be considered a disadvantage?

Still friends i am unable to get my basic answer of 'to which university i need to pursue and in which course i need to take admission'

Actually in want to do CA of Australia either side by side or after completing masters

It looks like you've bought your Bsc's rather than studied for them, from my perspective.

Your English skills are letting you down badly.

Do international students need to take IELTS to secure a place?

I've got no idea, but my 18YO Daughter studying engineering is telling me some very interesting stories about the Indian Students. IE, they enrol but dont study and try and bluff/bully/cajol/bribe their way through. In her opinion thats the majority as well. I think that the Indians that do the right thing need to out the ones that dont very quickly, otherwise they will be tarred with the same brush. Looks like their caste system is alive and well in Aus universities.

I doubt if very many of them will be taken seriously by employers.

She is going out of her way to out them, as it demeans her course in her view. She has had two at least try and stand over her, and she really caused a stink about it.

I'd be the same - what type of engineering is she studying?
