Default Maroochy Palms Holiday Park?

Anyone ever stayed here?
We are coming to Oz in June for a validation trip, arriving in Brisbane.
Looking for budget accommodation ... can't afford anything else!!
This place has cabins that seem reasonable.
Any other suggestions gratefully received! Looking at Sunshine coast and also New South Wales, between Brisbane and Sydney.
We stayed mainly in hostels last time which was fine, and cheap, but don't intend to travel about so much this time.
Thanks Alison

I have done 3 jobs for the Maroochy Palms holiday parks and they are doing all the cabins up. Very clean basic accom right across the road from the Maroochy River. The Sebel is totally different cost bracket. Our first month in Aus was spent at Alexandria Apartments in Alex Headland. Great location on the beach at Alex.

Yep we stayed at Maroochy Palms and it was excellent, 5 minutes to Sunshine Plaza, 5 minutes to Buderim and a few minutes more to the beach. You can also go fishing on the river which is just across the road

I would highly recommend it and we'll probably stay there for a few weeks when we 1st move over until we find a rental

Staff were very friendly as well
