I was told there was a shop in Kiama that sells it.
There is a shop in Darling Harbour shopping centre that has lots of British things, and in the Macquarie Centre, but I have never actully seen Marmite there.
My daughter smashed a whole big jar of it the other week!!! Luckily I have a back-up and I'm off the the UK in a few weeks anyway!!!!

I discovered and bought it in the Kirribilli Deli, until we moved. Will be needing to restock soon.
Reportedly also seen at the rocks

I know what you mean, vegimite tasts ike soap. I have been in oz 12 years now and it still tasts the same. i have tried every concevable type of spread and its all crap. but fear not i have some good news, the South Africans are as keen on marmite as us brits and import it over here. it takes a bit of finding and you have to search out the delis. i have found one here in Melbourn already. i know of one on the gold coast but not in sydney i'm afraid. there was a company that was importing it from the uk but they had to remove the label somthing about kraft making an issue of it. still it is out there you just need to find that deli. the more italian , greek style the better or s African. if you know any one going to uk get them to get you the catering tub it last and last and lasts, happy hunting

We managed to find a new source without much trouble, so no need to panic.
Moved from Kirribilli a few weeks ago, to Queenscliff. The Four Olives Deli in Manly has real Marmite from the UK on the shelf. Woohoo. $7+ for a ordinary sized jar.
I should have kept that a secret, now there'll be none left for me next time.

We are in Melbourne but have found that
a) vegemite doesn't taste anything like marmite
b) marnite (by sanitarium) is ok but doesn't taste like Uk marmite
c) Promite tastes like complete crap
BUT
c) Mightymite tastes very similar to UK marmite.
As you can see we have spent a lot of time (and trips to the supermarket) to find this out
