MAPs
Hi,
Does anyone know of any good places to obtain region/street maps of Victoria? I've been looking on the Internet but haven't found any good quality maps.

We are very spoiled for maps and charts in the UK!
Thanks to the many years of work of the OS, and the pioneers of mapping, we just take for granted that we can buy accurate (ish, sometimes!) maps at a variety of scales.
It ain't true of most other countries, and Oz is no exception.
It's tempting to think that you can just roll into humphries and get something like the OS maps, but - possibly because of the size of the place and the limited no. of potential buyers of any particular map - you will have to settle for something much less than you are used to here.
We are very spoiled for maps and charts in the UK!

Yeah know what you mean, just trying to familiarise myself with the various areas that I'm thinking about migrating to.

Go to http://www.movingdownunder.co.uk/fil...smelbourne.php
If you click on bottom link it takes you to all books maps etc available on Melbourne and surrounding areas available at Amazon. Saves searching for them all. !!

Or just use All Books and use the search engine to find books, dvds, videos etc on any subject all at discounted prices.
If you click on bottom link it takes you to all books maps etc available on Melbourne and surrounding areas available at Amazon. Saves searching for them all. !!
