I need to transfer £2200 (equivalent) each month back to the UK. I've used Ozforex before for larger transfers into Australia but not for regular payments. Any suggestions who I could use?

ETA: I need to jump through all the money laundering hoops again for Ozforex so thought before I did it would check to see if there were better companies out there.

It's $15 per transfer and very easy and fast. It's part of the ozforex family I think so I'm not sure what the money laundering requirements would be.

I use them for credit card payments to the UK every month, been doing it for years and its been consistently good service

Can I ask whether you have a registered UK address?

My company caters for these transfers out of Oz daily and so I would like to compare with what you are currently receiving from other FX firms.

Depending on who you bank with in Oz, the charge for sending $ out of the country is usually about $20. But we make this up easily by providing a very tight rate on any amount with no Fees ourselves.

HiFX - real simple, fees low (no fee if over GBP3k), GBP9.00 for all other. Rates much stronger than bank rates - in fact some of the best I have seen (I have used another a few years back).
You can also move the money from your Aus account to their Aus account so only the 50c fee on transfer then they sort it out so no fee on receipt either from your UK Bank. All done in 3 days - 4 max. I am not one to talk up a service but since moving here in April and moving money every month from Aus they have been excellent!

I use ozforex regularly and it's $15 per transfer. They phoned me for the first transfer for security questions etc but since then I've just done everything online with no hassle whatsoever. Plus they are very quick which helps when you've forgotten (again) that your loan is due out!!
