Just saw your post. We're both so sorry to hear about your cousin and send you all our sympathy. She sounds like a great woman and a real personality who really did get the most out of the time she had.
You're right that the best legacy to her is for you and your family to take whatever brave steps are needed to make your life the one you want. And as that's just what you're doing I'm sure your cousin would be well pleased.
