Made it!
Just a quick thread to let those that care know that we have arrived in Brisbane. Phew!
Problem now is that we have to find short term rented accommodation within about an hours commute from the CBD from the 12th of May. Anyone got any ideas?

It has a link about halfway down the page for short term lets & srviced apartments......

www.seqrents.com.au has plenty of short-term rental stuff.
Also - check out the local free-papers they have lots of private ads that dont appear on realestate.com.au
Or - the trader paper its orange text on normal size newspaper has lots of classified ads it'll have rentals too 0- in any newsagent or most garages.
