Talking to Warren last night, I said, "I just so want this to start for us, even if we find it a bit crappy , at least we have started the adventure and the quicker we get over the crap"

Soooooo pleased you got back on line sooooooo quickly.
Hope you stay really, really happy and looking forward to the rest of your posts.

Best Wishes

You'll get there Jill - just hang in there and one step at a time and you'll make it - I am glad you now want to go ( didn't you have a crisis of confidence about it all at one point?) but you have to try and not get too worked up about it otherwise you will be a gibbering mess in no time!!

I will keep you updated - don't worry - and now that I am here I hope I can help a few people with info about it all.

Chin up and have a beer for me!!

Thanks Pollster !

Yes the rollercoaster trundles on. Desperate to go at the moment, but have become much more level headed about it and not expecting it all to be plain sailing in fact on some days expecting the worst, so anything is a bonus.
Don't forget to change you location on your profile under your avtar, you are no longer in Harrow - remember !

Take Care

Poll, in the short time since you departed we have seen dramatic changes in the banana direction.

Jill has plucked the splinters from her derrier and now firmly comes down on one side of the fence.

Personally I think she has become too opinionated

Glad to hear you got there in one piece Pollster, keep the updates coming. Did Mr Pollster manage to listen to the big game last night? We arrived 1 hour before kick off but Will still tried his best!

We have realised that we forgot to unlock our mobiles before we left the UK so will have to buy new ones - apparently Vodafone is the only service provider out here except Telecom - which have crap coverage and you can't take them abroad. Bit annoyed about that as I have a VERY swish mobile from home but hubby is insisting I get a cheapie one out here as cash is tight to start with .

There are loads of threads on here about unlocking your phone. So your should be able to sort it out and keep your swish one.
Got to have a swish one!

Hello Pollster

New junior member here, glad to here you have arrived in NZ, lived over there for 14 years when I was a kiddie, now back in the uk awaiting visas for me and family to go to oz. Spent many a day lazing on Oakura beach, i am sure you and hubby are going to love it out there, as for shopping, do they have a local Foodtown in your area for major weekly shop?

All the best
