MacBook - which plug

MacBook - which plug
Hi, anyone got a MacBook in Oz having bought it in the UK? I'm a bit baffled by all the different plugs on offer. My current UK adapter is a bit knackered and I need a new one. Not sure whether to buy it here and the travel adapters kit (current exchange rates make it cheaper) or whether to buy in Oz as a whole new plug. Any advice?

Re: MacBook - which plug
I just bought a travel adaptor and used the old Mac plug. I went to Next Byte and asked the guy...it was either adaptor (about $35 AUD) or whole new plug (over $100AUD) and he said there was no difference between the two except price, so I went with the cheaper option. It's been working fine so far, 10 months in...that said, there was nothing wrong with my original plug.
If yours isn't in great shape, then I guess you have to decide if it's worth it to buy a new British one plus adaptor or just wait and get an Aussie plug. I don't know how much the British plugs cost, but the second option might be cheaper after all.

Thanks, I may need to plug (no pun intended) for the whole new plug though.

Cheaper than both options.
If you want a new one:
Apple Store AU 60W magsafe $109
Apple Store UK £49
Therefore buy in UK and get adapter off eBay like this
