OK any star gazers out there?
The longest Lunar Eclipse to be on Tuesday 28th August (my Birthday) anyone know where the best viewing point will be in perth.

It is supposed to be at its best around 6.30. Check out the NASA page

I am hoping that the best viewpoint will be from our shed roof

Just for info, Cairns is getting a total solar eclipse in 2012.
