Default Looking for uncle Peter

Hi,
Does anyone know of Peter Howarth who emigrated to Hobart, Tasmania after the second world war? He was the younger brother of my father, John, so would have been born around 1920. He had at least two other siblings - Betty and Dot. They were born and brought up in Hoylake and Birkenhead in the Wirral, UK. I'm trying to piece together my family history as a record for my children. Any clues as to where i might look would also be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ann

Why not contact the Tasmania Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages directly?

http://www.justice.tas.gov.au/bdm ... the web site has an e-mail address, so you can do it today!

Hi Ann, I was asked by my Dad a few years ago to see if I could trace an old friend of his that lived in Perth and he'd lost touch with over the years. I found a few possibilities in the white pages, gave them a ring and found him!! When my Dad came to visit us he caught up with his mate....recognized him straight away after over 50 years ;-))
Anyway, may be worth a look ;-))

All the best Ann. We have had some success on BE before. Good luck and I hope you find him.
