Have been a bit useless as checking the forum as had some bad news from home which has kept me rather preoccupied and can't find where it is now!!

Hi there, Just looking through this expats thing for some people who are in the same poor social circle as myself. Ive been here for nearly a year now, studying visa, but need to have more opportunities regards freinds etc. Ive got similar intrests ie music, sports, would like to meet up at some point for a few bevvy's so if thats cool drop us a message and we meet up dude.

Sorry to gate crash the thread but would anyone be willing to meet up to talking about moving to Melbourne from the UK?
I'm studying abroad for 6 months and need to talk to Brits about moving to Australia for my degree.

Love to give you a long list of advice but cant cause only been here a short period.....Just go for it, i did and i havnt looked back. Im on student visa, got cheap digs in nice area, I could put you in the direction of cheapish places to stay as longs as in the east cause thats all i know. Good luck anyways
