Try looking on here.
http://www.southaustralia.com/shorts/
I would e-mail a few places directly too they maybe able to offer you something directly.
We recently went to Adelaide, I couldn't find a hotel that would allow 2 adults and 2 kids all in the same room. I e-mailed the Holiday Inn and they did.

I saw your location says: "Location: Hitting Bayside Brisbane 24/04/09"
A bit far from Adelaide for commuting
Most furnished accommodation would normally start from about $700pw
This one, in Adelaide, http://www.roorentals.com.au/rates4.html for example, is $700pw

Some links here: http://www.rent-a-home.com.au/accomm...-north-east--2
http://www.sa.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u...Mode=listLinks
Try the migrant on arrival accommodation? might get lucky you never know. They want 6 weeks notice of your arrival though usually http://www.migration.sa.gov.au/centr...ommodation.jsp
Not a great deal on offer in the way of furnished for short term rental unless you want to pay $500+ per week for it.
