Default Long term rental or lease for 4-6 months?

Hey,

I have a project in Sydney from 4-6 months and I want to get a car for the family. Wondering what the best way to do this is? Probably a longer term rental might be the best bet - anyone have any experience here?

My US company will pay for it, but I need to put a budget together.

Thanks!

Which area are you going to work?

But it's possible there are loads of serviced apartments but they won't be cheap, I think the place my hubby was staying through his company was $175 p/n in Manly.
